Why Collagen is Important
Collagen accounts for 30% of your body’s protein. It provides structure, support and strength to the lining inside your gut, skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues.*
Collagen Benefits
Supplementing with collagen peptides can help bridge dietary gaps and ensure your body has enough raw material to maintain optimal gut, skin, joint and bone health.*
Why Colostrum is Important
Colostrum is a vital first food for mammals, offering a unique combination of nutrients critical for health and recovery.
Colostrum Benefits
Studies have shown that bovine colostrum supports gut health and immune function and aids in athletic recovery due to its key components such as immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, growth factors, and proline-rich polypeptides.

Frequently Asked Questions
What collagen types does Collagen & Colostrum contain?
Practically, all types. But it's more complicated than that.
Hydrolyzed collagen (such as the one we use in our supplement), regardless of its original type, undergoes a process called hydrolysis that breaks down its protein chains, transforming it into small peptides that our bodies can digest and absorb.
This process yields a universal composition of amino acids and bioactive peptides that support both nutritional and functional health benefits (of all collagen types). The resulting benefits and composition of hydrolyzed collagen depend more on the hydrolysis method and the quality of production rather than the type of original collagen or the animal source.
Consequently, specifying the type or origin of collagen in hydrolyzed collagen is unnecessary and irrelevant.
Where do you source the ingredients from?
All our ingredients are sourced from grass-fed and pasture-raised cattle. Our hydrolyzed collagen is imported from Spain and our colostrum comes from New Zealand.
Can you give Collagen & Colostrum to kids and pets?
While we always recommend consulting your pediatrician and vet, we feed Collagen & Colostrum to our kids and our German Shepherd.
Can you consume colostrum if you're lactose intolerant?
Colostrum, while a dairy product, differs from milk as it contains no lactose, making it easily digestible and beneficial for gut health in most people with lactose intolerance.
Is your colostrum responsibly sourced?
Our promise is that calves always receive colostrum first. After birth, cows produce more colostrum than calves consume, typically using only 33-50% of it. We collect the surplus and then process it at low temperatures to eliminate bacteria while preserving nutrients.
Can you mix Collagen & Colostrum with cold or hot liquids?
We recommend keeping liquids below 145° F when mixing with Collagen & Colostrum to minimize nutrient degradation. While nutrients won't degrade drastically above this temperature, maintaining it below 145°F is considered best practice.
